David Thomas is the latest addition to our team, with over 14 years experience in systems,
database design and programming with a focus on library science and systems. His technical skills
include programming in VBA, Perl, and PHP and database development with Access, Filemaker and
MySQL. Additionally, David brings database modeling, business process analysis, documentation
and hardware skills to the team.
As a database design consultant, David has worked for clients such as the Richmond Art Center,
JoMiJo Foundation, California Works Foundation, Lehrhaus Judaica, Riverdog Farm and the U.S. Forest
Service. David also has experience teaching masters level library science and computer technology as a
Visiting Assistant Professor at Long Island University.
David has a number of degrees, including a B.A. and M.S. from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in
Library Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
