Donovan Eastman was our first team member, joining Dan Stern Data Systems in the Spring of 2003 as a Senior Application Developer. He is an expert in Microsoft technologies including Access, Visual Basic, VBA, SQL Server, Windows, Office, Project and Visio. He also has additional database experience with FoxPro and FileMake Pro. Additionally, he is highly skilled at project and team management, client services, training and technology budgeting.

Prior to joining DSDS, Donovan had his own freelance consulting and contracting firm, Eastman Consulting. He specialized in custom database solutions, strategic planning for database applications, analytical data services (analysis, reporting, conversion and cleanup), training and technical support. His clients included Panta Rhea Foundation in Mill Valley; Community Violence Solutions in San Pablo and the Women's Cancer Research Center in Oakland.

Prior to forming Eastman Consulting, Donovan held a number of high-level IT positions for several Massachusetts based firms, including de facto IT Director for apparel screen printer MHPG, Inc and Director of IT for investment research consultants Kinder, Lydenberg, Domini Inc. (KLD)

Donovan is a graduate of Earlham College in Richmond in Indiana.
